"watch the video"
You already know how we live in the zoo.
Would you like to know how we really live in our natural habitat?; What do we eat?; Where do we live? and a lot of things about us? Come with me and we will discover everything.
Your mission will be "to design a suitable habitat for the animal".
PROCESS
2) Do a research about the animal using the resources you will find below.
3) Each of you will look for specific information, thus:
STUDENT 1: will look for information about the natural environment where the animal lives and will draw it in a card.
STUDENT 2: will look for information about de diet of the animal and will draw the plants and animals needed for the animla survival.
STUDENT 3: will search for information about physical appearance of the animal and the main characteristics of the animals group he belongs to (mammals, birds...), and will draw it within his natural environment.
4) Finally all of you make a report about the animal in order to be able to explain to your partners as much as possible about it. You have to cover the following points:

Hi, Merce!
ResponderEliminarWow! This is a real interesting webquest!
I think you have focused it in a very good way, because lots of children (usually from the big cities) don't know many things about wild animals and domestic animals too. So I like you are connected this kind of learning with English area.
Also, it's a proper activity to carry out at English class and, also, in Science lessons.
muy bonito el blog..al final tantas horas delante del ordenador han tenido su recompensa...te ha quedado muy chulo...besitos
ResponderEliminarHello Mercedes!
ResponderEliminarYour webquest is very interesting! I really like the video that you have used to introduce the topic. The pace of the tasks is good and I have to congratulate you for the idea that you have used for your evaluation.
The topic will like very much to the children, as Jenny said, because they don't usually know many things about animals because of the society where we live.
Use this webquest in science would be interesting too. Congratulations :)
Simply perfect!
